When: This morning
Location: Hollywood/Vine Red Line station
Last seen: On the ground after they fell off my belt loop when I was rushing with my bike to another subway car. I got on the subway as usual at Hollywood and Highland and at the Vine stop, I tried to get my bike into another car before the doors closed because the last car is where I meet up with a commuting friend some days and we'd planned on that time of exact train today. So I chose to keep going instead of grab the glasses. I'm pretty disappointed; I'd dinged up those glasses badly but they hadn't cracked yet and I really liked them.
Losses: Having a pair of sunglasses that don't make me look like a hipster douche (see yellow Wayfarer-like pair).
How I can prevent this loss in the future: Never use my belt loop again for holding sunglasses. Arrive early and be in less of a hurry. Don't switch cars like that when towing a pesky bike.
